I attend to this DMV like 20 years ago. I want to say that overall customer services personally is 90% quality services. Any government office that I attend my mind set is first as customer I want to be familiar with schedule, necessary documents for any service that I want to request. The services every time is better implementing new technology that makes everything faster plus employees helped me going directly to my request Great service:)

Line around the building, this could all have been made much more efficient a long time ago, especially in the age of automation. This is a good example of state power rather than state service to the people. Y’all realize we pay the state to facilitate these things for us all to make things easier.

DO NOT GO HERE EVER! Read the reviews that don't look FAKE and you'll get a real picture. I didn't believe it was that bad and had my day ruined by stupidity. This is the worst DMV in the nation, in the history of time. A bunch of idiots work there. The system goes down a lot and they will simply not notify you it has. I mean these people are terrible.

I received my drivers license here in 1998. I've had my license reinstated twice here. U get what u give. In my opinion Oakland Coliseum DMV is the most efficient and reliable

Place is full of idiots, I stand in line for 2 hours to get pre screened to renew my registration, I told them my whole circumstance they reviewed my paperwork and sent me through to the waiting area. I sat another 2 hours before I was called up to get turned away because I didn't have all the paperwork they said they needed. What is the point of pre screening? This is ridiculous. because the DMV under charged me I have to go to the DMV and go through this huge pain just to get screwed over once I get there. Most pathetic DMV ever.
