When you see a company that has so many 5 star reviews you tend to think they do a great job with Reputation Management. Everyone can't give a 5 star glowing review and have it be true.  I am giving my 5 star review to Mark Hoffman because he answers the phone, answers his emails and spent 3 hours with us yesterday getting us from A to Z on a real estate issue we are working on. He took my super skeptical wife and made her a believer that he could help us out and did not promise the moon, but said he would do the best he could do. He gave us action steps and a plan is in place that we feel good about.

The office is non-descript and low key. No big fancy lobby with Starbucks.  Don't let that scare you away. What we did get is a very fair price and a plan detailing costs all  along the way.  We received excellent advice for a very fair set price. We did not get a retainer with a blank check attached and for that we say good job Oak Tree Law. We heard about them on KFI and we did the research. Real Estate Law is their bread and butter and they are very good at it.  I hope to be able to update this review along the way or I will give you more info as we go along. Right now, meeting one we have hired them and we are super impressed and feel very confident they will be able to handle our matters well with the expertise and knowledge they posses.

Update as of 10 18 19.  They did it. We are so amazed Jennifer Leonard and Mark Hoffman got our load remodified.  A weight has been lifted.   

I am a believer in these guys and their methodical process to getting your loan remod done. 

If you are in an interest only loan and don't see a way out call Mark at Oaktree and he will talk to you and if your situation makes sense he will meet with you.  You gotta do your part and bring all the paper work needed and then there will be more paper work.  But that is what it takes to make it happen.

If they had a 6 star review I would give it to them.

To Those in Financial Trouble:

Like so many others I assumed that personal bankruptcy  was useless and not possible today with changes made by congress. I had worked 8 years on a personal project, had good income but the project took way longer then expected, the help and support I was expect was not their, basically things in our country have change so much. So I used credit cards and high interest loans, made mistakes and failed to keep above water.

I know that I had to do BK, looking for a lawyer was a mess, most just not open or honest. Finally I found Oaktree Law from a radio add, run by a women. My first encounter was great with Marissa Pitts, and trust was established.

Since then to today while I wait for the final dis-charge I can say nothing but good things about the whole staff, easy to work with and spot on. I was not one attempting to beat all bills but the commercial credit cards, high interest loans and just bad deals paid unreasonable interest rates on for 3 to 4 years, digging my hole deeper. I can say that Yes, the BK law is still available to help for mistakes made, your life is not over if it was just attempting to do the American thing of make things happen.

Of course I’m aware I’m luck in retirement, my big concern to protect my retirements for my wife. But their is still help available.

Oaktree Law is a solid family law firm with the principal of a good service in return for a set reasonable fee. I highly recommend their firm, can speak highly of all the staff, the easy and clear preparation of your problem and the best way to solve it for a long term fix and reset in life.

There's nothing in this life that could be more stressful, and could cause more anxiety, when contemplating a Chapter 7 or 13 bankruptcy, and, pursuing a home loan modification. 

However, for any one of the above, CALL Mark Hoffman first at Oaktree Law, before you call any other firm!

Mark pleasantly, and quite satisfactorily, fielded all our questions, for greater than 6+ hrs (maybe more!) of Q&A over a period of 3-6 months, before & after hiring them for our Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing. Everything got discharged to our satisfaction and no stone was left unturned. We also retained them for our Chase 1st home loan modification as well. 

With Jennifer constantly "going the extra mile", and service "above the call of duty" support as well, we finally got the loan modification done. "Mark and Jennifer" team at Oaktree law will hold your hand every step of the way and see things through for you. Mark and Jennifer ALWAYS responded to us very quickly, and assisted us, literally, every step of the way, whether it was via phone or email.

Even if you are currently working with another third party, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND consulting with Mark Hoffman before you make your life-changing decision.

If you are looking for someone to help save your house, call Oak Tree Law. My husband and I were struggling to pay our mortgage payments the banks wouldn't help us, told me that they couldn't help unless we were in default. Well that turned bad fast they not only wouldn't help us they put us in foreclosure. We went to a attorney that prays upon these people, she ripped us off 4,000.00. We were under a lot of stress not knowing if our family would have to move. Most people we knew told us we had no chance of saving our house. We could not give in, so my husband and I googled loan modifications with the lender we had and found one success story about Oak Tree Law. We called and spoke with Marissa, she was amazing and felt she truly cared about what we were going through. My husband and I drove from Encinitas to LA took us more than hour to drive, we were greeted with the most amazing staff. We sat down Marissa took her time going over all details and instructions of what we needed to do. Everything she told us to expect to happen did. We got a modification because of these incredible caring and knowledgeable people. I could not have done this with out Marissa and Julie on our side. We love you guys, and have been thanking God for leading us to you. We are so great full for all your time and patients.
