It was a delightful experience! The place has a simple yet inviting ambiance, perfect for a casual meal. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided great service, making the visit even more enjoyable. The shawarma was a standout—delicious, generously portioned, and reasonably priced at just $7.50 for a big serving. The combination of fresh ingredients and flavorful meat was spot on. Additionally, the variety of Middle Eastern products available for purchase adds a unique touch to the place. Overall, Oasis Shawarma offers great food at great prices with excellent customer service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying and affordable meal.
Not great middle eastern food. Food looks fresh however. They were really nice though - fixed my order after they got it wrong and forgot the sauces. The shawarma was breaking upon holding it. I think they used the wrong bread/cheap. Doesn’t taste like a true shawarma sandwich at all.
great place, the staff is very nice and communicative, don't be afraid to ask - they give good advice!!! the place is small, but it gives the impression of space. they care about cleanliness! I ordered a kebab and I still can't believe it was so tasty!!!! no! I've eaten better in this country!!! great balance of vegetables, sauce and lamb. The meat was perfectly cooked on the grill. I will definitely come back there with my friends!!! Oh, I forgot to add that it's not expensive!
Got a delicious falafel sandwich here! All the toppings were incredibly fresh and it was only $5.50. Great spot for a quick bite when you're in the area. Their menu is huge and they have a lot of side dishes. Everything was clearly labeled for vegetarian and vegan options. Vegetarian options: Falafel sandwich, cauliflower sandwich, and lots of sides
Super generous portions, amazing quality food. Been coming here for years and they always deliver. Don’t miss the falafel. Support Palestinian-owned restaurants Dietary restrictions: Halal and kosher-friendly
Best place for middle eastern food in all of brooklyn! Trust me. Plus they have vegan and gluten free option such as the falafel plate.Food: 5/5
I work in the neighborhood and eat here everyday. I love this place so much. I am vegan and a side of GOOD falafel is only $1.50 !! A deal you can’t beat. Always fresh.Food: 5/5
The Shawarma sandwich is so so tasty, it is juicy and fresh. The sauce that used called Thomia is another story, when I got this huge sandwich with these fresh ingredients for $7.50 I didn't believe my eyes. The sandwich is big and they are so generous and hospitality. I definitely recommended especially for families who seek tasty food with reasonable price Vegetarian options: They have a good selection of vegetarian dishes such as fried cauliflower and fried eggplant with Red sauce yummy food!!!!! Kid-friendliness: My son spilled his yogurt but the owner so tolerated and super nice.
For a long time this has been wine of the best quick and affordable food options in Williamsburg. The food always fueling me through my day and deliciously as well. There’s days I’m not sure I’d eat if it hadn’t been for this spot. The one weak link always being the pita, which was somehow always paper thin and falling apart, but something I could barely care about when the food was as good as it was and so reasonably priced. But over the past few weeks something been different. The pita is fluffy and soaks up their amazing sauces and the flavor from the chicken and pickles, it’s so good that I finding myself eating the scraps of the pita after I finish the sandwich. Affordable and fluffy? I’m in heaven and its name is oasis. Thank you for the incredible work feeding this neighborhood.
Ok let’s face it, eating out in NYC can get super expensive. That’s when this place comes in. I am vegan and not a huge fan of eating at carnist places but make an exception every now and then, this time the reason being the price. Their vegan options are clearly labeled as such and the cashier seemed to be knowledgeable about what is vegan and what is not. The lentil soup is vegan - good but a bit too salty for me. Their falafel was very good, not overly dry like at many other restaurants. Portions are decent size, and can I just mention their incredibly cheap prices again! The ambiance is very casual, no table service but plenty of tables to sit at. I’ll come back here again when I’m in the area starving. I don’t rate non-vegan places 5 stars anymore but this is a good place with solid vegan options.
