Ive been coming to M&M Campground for over 40 years. I have seen about 5 different managers here. From Miss Opal all the way to Percy and they have all been top notch. As long as you arent at the campground causing trouble or being a nuisance, you are fine. We used to get a lot of guys coming in their in the summer time drinkin beer and getting belligerent with their girlfriends. This causes problems for the paying customers who simply want to camp, fish and have fun. If your gonna come here to drink, smoke weed, and get loud and belligerent then STAY OUT! Ive seen many police cars come in their hauling out campers who were too drunk to even walk. The fishing is great here although the bathrooms need a little work. If your here to simply tent camp, cook out doors, fish and have fun then you are at the right place!! The island is very lucrative because you have water on both sides. On one side you have a slough which is great for castfish, crappie and bass, and on the other side you have the open water which is great BIG Catfishing at night! Great for keeping your boat in the water right next to your campsite! I love this place and always will. The island is called Stubs Island and sits right across from Rattlesnake Island near the Keys. The Crappie fishing is KILLER in the spring. See my pic! The only reason I gave it 3 stars and not 5 is because the bathrooms can use a bit more work, but overall its a nice place to camp at Clear Lake.

This place is very hostile and unwelcomeing they are disrespectful to their neighbor's with a reputation of chasing pedestrians out of the park. The manager will race up to you in his truck to demand you get out of the park. Thought he was going to pul a gun or a Billy club out the way he came across As important as this run down blighted Trailer campground may be I understand this is quite possibly the center of his world.,a place he can rule and Lord over to be important. Its no wonder people with anger issues end up living in poverty or not far from it. This is a place to be avoided at all cost and don't drink the water it's from the lake go up the street to Glenhaven the whole town has spring water on tap and way better parks with great views

One star is one too many for this dump. While walking my IHSS client in the neighborhood was told we were on private property and would have to pay "11 dollars or get out!" What a rude asshat. Won't send any business his way. Poor angry white trash.

We have been here a couple times, nice place, this trip they double booked our camp site, we wanted the cove, but when we showed up there was a grouped there, the management did give us another site at discounted rate but not cool, but all in all not complaints we will be back..

This is a really nicely located camp ground with easy bike ride to local coffee shop, (Catfish Coffee) pizza and right on the lake. The bathrooms are in need an update but they are cleaned daily. A small flaw in an otherwise beautiful setting.
