i agree with Angela Tabereaux... HORRIBLE!  HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE COMPANY! i only put one star because there is no option for zero stars.  we also (like Angela) were charged more than what was quoted. we are a disabled couple and quite frankly we are shocked how ocean movers "played dirty" and totally took advantage of us... in a disgraceful way. just like Phyllis Johnson said in her ONE STAR review..... they try to bill you for additional time.....making the move time longer than it actually took so they can squeeze you for more money.  ocean movers reported the time on the "invoice" as longer than what it actually took for the move. it was a VERY minimal move... a barely furnished small one bedroom with items being moved 5 minutes away. we like others who reviewed on here we also incurred extra fees and hidden charges that were NEVER disclosed in my phone conversations setting up the move ....OR in an email that "Amber" (supposedly the office manager) sent to us. these charges were not mentioned in the confirmation email they sent out .... supposedly sent to confirm the terms. im sure the owner will reply to this with a bunch of excuses, the owner constantly states on here to customers with bad reviews "you didn't reach out to us with any issues."  but we asked to speak to the owner and we were refused.   Amber said she would tell the owner about our concerns, but the owner never bothered to even get back to us in any way whatsoever.  We asked for the owner's name but no one would even give us that information. we even sent a CERTIFIED LETTER to the owner.   the owner would not respond and kept his or her identity hidden....we only got a worthless response from the great "Amber," who again refused to do anything about this horrible experience. Unbelievable. the owner frequently responds to bad reviews 'the customer signed an invoice saying they were satisfied" but the great Amber knew we had issues with the move and told us "i have no way to see the invoice....just sign it and I'll work with you. " but when she got the invoice she really turned on us rudely saying " it's done.   there is no refund and nothing you can do." she tricked us into signing that we were "satisfied" because she promised us if we got the invoice to her she would work with us. I was in a terrible car accident and have catastrophic injuries. I am paraplegic, paralyzed and bed ridden.   it has gotten so bad, i was forced to go into a nursing home and move out of a small apartment. because of my paralysis, i couldn't be there for the move. so my long time girlfriend went their to just act as my agent and pay for the move.  she also has undergone majory surgery...and can barely walk. she has to constantly use a walker. but when the movers arrived everything changed from the conversations I had with Amber (and from the confirmation email),  and they really treated us horribly. the office manager Amber was very rude and two faced. at first she acted like she would help us.....but once she got the contract she turned on us and said "its done and there is nothing you can do about it." their actions were fraudulent... stating that the move took longer than it did...so they could get more money.  again, they also charged extra bogus fees. if the owner responds with his usual "i can provide the invoice that says they were satisfied,"  i can provide tons of documentation that says we weren't. owner says in another ONE STAR review "we go above and beyond to make sure the customer has a positive experience, and do everything we can to correct a mistake." WHAT A JOKE!!!  the owner wouldn't even call us back... and Amber wouldn't even tell us who the owner's name. Again, the owner even ignored a CERTIFIED LETTER...and kept his or her identity hidden! I would NEVER recomnend ocean movers...even to ny worst enemy. I agree with Phyllis Johnson....DON'T PAY CASH! better yet... BEWARE!  dont ever use ocean movers!  Jeff R.

These guys were outstanding. I have moved cross country 6 times and a few in Jacksonville. Hands down I wish these guys were everywhere. They wrapped all my furniture, which no other movers have, and packed strategically in their truck. They unloaded all of my things exactly where they were suppose to go all under the 2 hour time frame!!! I will always use Ocean Movers going toward.

Very friendly and finished my move fast. They treated my belonging like their own. Highly recommend.
