I got this room specifically for the view - which was fabulous. The bed was comfy, good pressure in the shower, and everything was clean. Check in and out were quick and easy as well. But honestly, I've gotten those things and more at much cheaper hotels. It's the off season, so the rate was really good - I wouldn't choose to stay here in the summer.

Current management prioritize their interests over guests comfort. Beware, also, of mandatory spa fee. A dollar a minute to run on the treadmill is a good deal, right? What! I have been coming to this hotel for more than ten years for an event at the conference center, and the place has been thru several owners. The current owner embodies what is terrible about the modern world. Sure, the driveway has been resurfaced, and new the checkpoint Charlie style parking gates make me feel safe. This hotel has 275 rooms overlooking the ocean, but two year running, I got one of 7 rooms that with a great view of a wall. "We are full", "I will pay more." "Nothing I can do" I go back to work, and have an idea, I call the hotel, and there are *plenty* of rooms of all types. So, I go back to front desk "Cannot change it" "So cancel my reservation and write me a new one at $30 more please" "There is a three days notice to cancel" "So, change my room and charge me more" Apparently, that was the password. This place has great views, but two hours of head pounding frustration? Why? Our group is a good customer, but they would rather shunt us off into the crappy rooms? Great strategy! Gets great review too.

Location was right on the water. We didn't going in any hotel rooms. Just a large conference or makeshift ballroom. The event was a bridal show. The only service we experienced was a drink at the bar. Service was great there. Bartender filled champagne all the way to top in a wine glass.

Room's were average. Service was excellent! We were there for a New Year's Eve event in which our friends band was playing and was attended by a large group that are all friends of the band. A fantastic evening with friends and the best band on the Jersey coast. The hotel staff very friendly and attentive to your every need. Would definitely recommend.

Attend every year for a work event in February. The value of staying overnight is not there. Have had cleanliness issues and security issues. One year they deactivated my room key only to give another guest access, luckily we were there when the other guests attempted to enter our room. Ice machines are dirty with dirt particles(or mold?) mixed in with the ice. You get all this for nearly 200$ a night in the off season. No credit given for invasion of privacy or dirty ice.
