Story

Rhode Islands oldest and most professional gymnastics school was founded in 1980 in Cumberland by husband and wife team, Anne & Tim Lyons. Anne has a bachelors degree in elementary education with a minor in child psychology and an 8 year background in competitive gymnastics. Tim has 10 years of competitive gymnastics experience finishing in the top 25 in the country from 1970-1974. Tim is also an inactive Marine trained in health sciences.

OSSG focuses on positive child development using gymnastics & rock climbing as the vehicles. OSSG preschool and recreational classes focus on vestibular mechanism development which enhances academic as well a physical enhancement.

OSSG summer camp is staffed with well trained long time instructors. We don't hire part time unqualified help for the summer.

OSSG also provides the most fun filled birthday parties involving gymnastics, rock climbing and in the summer we offer swimming.

OSSG IS FULLY AIR CONDITIONED. That's a rare item in this business.
