I can't understand where the people who like this woman live. It can't be the Upper West Side or Lincoln Towers. Call her office, answering machine. Disagree with her, she'll call you names, I'm soo sorry people confused her with Linda Rosenthal three years ago. Linda is the opposite and actually listens to us. My neighbor shared a clip with me which had her from a meeting they had with her last year. Won't make same mistake twice.

Helen Rosenthal is my council member. She seems to be a strong advocate for bicycles and bicyclers, advocating more lanes for bikers and more park space. I am a senior citizen who does not ride a bike and fear for my life on the streets of the upper westside and in Riverside Park due to the bikers not obeying the traffic rules and riding too fast where pedestrians walk. In view of this, I may vote for Mel Wymore. I am open to discussing this matter with Ms. Rosenthal. I agree with the others who have said that Ms. Rosenthal is unresponsive and is partly responsible for the decline in the quality of life on the upper west side

Talk about a contradiction of the term Public Servant. She listens more to other politicians outside of the district than to her own people. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Hopefully the Peter Principle will kick in and she'll move on to higher office before she completely ruins our neighborhood!

Helen Rosenthal is awful. She sat on her hands and watched our community degrade while she used the office to boost her own career, which we hope will be short. She's ignored voter concerns about bike lanes, mega developments, school zoning, rats and the homeless. To get most things done, you have to call the Assembly woman or Borough President. Like our country, the Upper West Side went from the best representation to the worst in one swoop! Can;t wait to see her go!

Unresponsive to emails and calls, unresponsive to requests for information on public green spaces, unresponsive as to why the real estate blight on UWS continues to get worse. A true politician, and that’s not a good thing.
