Nowadays everybody is specializing. Not only do doctors specialize, but now hospitals do. They have hospitals for cancer they have hospitals for children, hospitals for children's cancer, and now they have these heart hospitals. If you are having heart problems it's a good place to go, because you want to be treated by the best.

Dr had time to see me and wouldn't. Worst care. No concern for patient welfare. Referred to ER for a prescription refill. integris much better.

My experience with this office was quite superficial. I was referred by my primary doctor to find the services of a cardiologist. I found Heart Consultants through Google. Chelsea, a receptionist for Heart Consultants, requested that I provide a referrel from my doctor, which I did in the same day. After calling her and having my primary doctor's office call, she refused to schedule an appointment on the grounds that they "don't like to deal with the government." If you like to deal with bureaucracies and receptionists on a power-trip, I whole-heartedly recommend Heart Consultants! Otherwise, find another cardiologist. I did.

Best of care * everyone went out of their way to help us. also made sure we understood everything, even called me after I got home to make sure I was doing ok

Well I've been going to the Heart Consultants for a couple of years now, and I'm not impressed with the quality of care they provide, my time is just as valuable as the Dr's is and when I arrive 30 minutes before my appointment and I'm still in the waiting room 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, it gets a little frustrating to say the least. Then when I do make it into the exam room i've had to wait up to an hour so that I can see the Dr. for maybe 5 minutes, the Dr isn't pro-active in my health care, the office staff is always re-scheduling my appointments to the point that I am in the market for a new Dr. The add in the phonebook says that they answer their phone 24/7 but today I tried to call their number 737-9820 and when it is answered the recording says that they are closed and if I want to leave a message to call 737-9820, gee what's wrong with this picture?
