Don't wake up hard from anesthesia or they will boot you into the psych ward for 120 hours.  I told two doctors and a nurse that I had problems with being physical and cussing while waking out of anesthesia, but was ignored.  I woke up needing to go to the bathroom, a wedge between my legs due to hip surgery and no one around.  I screamed and cussed at everyone.  Next thing I know I am hauled off to the hidden unit of geri psych for a week and a day, not counting weekends.  They took everything so couldn't call and tell anyone what happened.  The hospital told people who called for me I had been discharged!  And while there, was treated like a non entity, no counseling, no psych meds, no wound care or physical  therapy.  I was lucky in getting a wheelchair and a walker and finally being placed in a handicapped room so I could do my own recovery.  What would have happened to an elder who did not know what to do?   And during my hell on earth visit, found out where the illegals go to get jobs.

Never ever ever allow yourself or a family member be in this horrible place that portrays to be a medical facility!!!! Time for an attorney.
