I love coming to the pool but I wish they would go back yo to enforcing the original rule for the riverwalk class hours. When I 1st started using the pool the rule was during these hours you had to walk against the current. Now everyone walks both ways which increases the power of the current making it much harder to walk against the current. I know of 10 people who have quit coming because their knees couldn't take the stronger current . They don't want to walk with the current because that's like walking with someone carrying you. You get no exercise out of it

We joined the Olathe Community Center when we moved here to Olathe two years ago. The facility seemed nice, but overall didn’t meet our family’s needs. The work out portion is strangely situated and not my favorite as people walking to the track have to walk right through the middle of the area. It has basic equipment but nothing great.
The cost of childcare more than doubles our membership ($3/kid) if you have two kids and go three times a week. And the childcare area is small and only for kids up to 6 years of age. If we were to use the facility for the pool only, we could get a less expensive membership, but we occasionally like to play basketball. Overall, we decided it is less expensive to pay out of pocket when we do decide to go than pay $750 a year for a membership plus childcare and classes. We ultimately joined a health club and find the amenities better suited for our family at this time.

This is a great facility and the staff is amazing. I took my grandson to swim lessons and the instructors were great. They all seemed to enjoy working with the kids and teaching them. The facility seems to offer a lot. Olathe residents are lucky to have this community center and the staff managing it.

There's lifeguards everywhere so you know you're safe and lots of things to do so no where to get bored that's in the pool of course hint hint lifeguards and I would highly recommend the basketball coaches and refs fair but not overly dramatic and the facility itself is always really clean and very well updated and the upstairs Fitness Center really good or I should say all ages depending on where you go in the huge facility water slides are cool little bumpy but cool

Cool and sleek place with lots of work out and relaxing options. Conference rooms with a kitchen next door. A decent sized pool with some crazy slides that go outside.
