I lived here for more than four years the first four years we're all right was very convenient for me to get to places I needed to go to so that's why I stayed as long as I did. The last three or four months that I live with this complex were horrible in April 2017 I got notice that my lease was expiring in May the day I got the notice I went up to the office to sign the new lease no one was in the office at 2:30 in the afternoon I went up there later in the day because they were supposed to be open till six nobody was there later in the day as well. I left a message on the answering machine stating that I was planning on staying please go ahead and write up a lease and I would come sign it just let me know when the lease is ready 13 days later I received another notice stating that the first offer for the rent increase had expired and my rent was going up or an additional $15 in addition to the 40 it was already going up which would've made my rent 850 a month including utilities I would've had to pay the complex. I was very upset with this so I left them a message on the answering machine in a very heated voice I did not swear but I told him how unhappy I was about this and that I thought it was I thought it was unfair. That following morning I received notice that they were not going to renew my lease I asked him why and they said they did not have to tell me why which legally they did not. I later found out that apparently the reason why was that in the message I threatened to call an attorney that deals with the American disability act and the TV stations to report how unfair and how I am accessible their apartments are two people with disabilities. I needed a shower put in that had no barriers, called a roll in shower I offered to pay for this out of my pocket all I needed was their approval to do the alterations 3 1/2 months later I still do not have the approval which I was informed by the Attorney General's office that is in strict violation of the American disabilities act. During my move out procedures I measured all the doorways in the hallway to see if they complied with ADA rules and regulations the only door in the apartment that complied with the rules and regulations was the entrance door to the apartment all other doors we're less than 36 inches wide required by ADA rules and regulations and law. It is for this reason there are multiple nicks and scrapes on the walls and doorways caused by my wheelchairs. The hallway leading to the bathroom is only 37 inches wide according to American disabilities act it should be 48 inches wide in order for the apartment to qualify as handicapped accessible. The maintenance crew was as helpful as they could be with everything I needed through the years but their hands were tied a lot because of corporate limiting what they could do. There were holes in the lonely and floor calls about my power chair and furniture sitting on the floor this is because there was no backing on the floor it was it here to the concrete so in the concrete expanded or contracted so did the linoleum floor. So in conclusion my advice would be to stay away from the park at Olathe Station especially if you're disabled because if you require any alterations when you move in or later they will not accommodate you they will just not renew your lease

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Yes it is very convenient to be next to everything the location is great but the new owners are not helpful they are barely in the office. I have came to the office several times where they were suppose to be open but no one was there to get packages; recently I put my notice in; they want you to pay 900+ for no washer and dryer hook up or garage. They do have washers on site but they barely work when you tell the office nothing gets done. Im not going to live somewhere where you can barely get ahold of the office staff and they blame each other when something goes wrong. I rather pay $100 more somewhere else where I feel comfortable paying my bills. They also recently did some remodeling my stairway is broken just painted over the stairs look like trash bc they didn't scrape the old paint off it was embarrassing when I had company over and they referred to the outside of my apartments looking "ghetto". Just don't do it. You can spend your money in way better ways then here.

I lived here for a year with two college aged roommates. Parking was good. Location is phenomenal, price was good. Pool is definitely more for the younger kids and having access to multiple laundromats on-site was very convenient. Maintenance staff was great as well.

I love this place. I was looking for a place close to work & one of my sisters told me about The Park. It is so lovely here, quiet & just a wonderful place to live. Kim & the staff have been great to work with. Kim always answers any inquiries I have & the staff are great & dedicated. I have told many of my friends that if they are looking for a great place to live where the tenants are treated well & with respect, they need to check out The Park at Olathe Station. I won't be moving any time soon. Kudos to Kim & the staff, you are all awesome.

I moved to The Park at Olathe Station about a year ago and have nothing but great things to say about this complex. The day I moved in, staff accompanied me to do my move in walk through and were eager to help with any issue that I needed taken care of. Any issues I had were dealt with that day. Yes, there have been a couple changes in management since I've lived here, and while that can seem stressful or disheartening as a tenant, imagine this from the management's point of view. Anytime I enter the leasing office, Kim is there with a smile on her face and ready to help me with anything I need. In addition, she was very helpful in working with me to sign a short term lease recently, which I have never known to be the case with any other place I've lived. I have seen her many times walking and chatting with tenants and sincerely getting to know them. I get the genuine feeling that Kim cares for our community and is doing her best to make improvements as issues arise. If you're interested in living in a community where the move-in process is a breeze, safety of the residents comes first, and you are actually treated like a human being, I recommend checking out The Park at Olathe Station.
