I have had a good experience at this place every time I've gone. The food is much better than you're typical bar food which is nice. The servers are nice and welcoming. I haven't been here late at night (12am to 2am) so I can't give a review about how it is at late. That's the only reason I'm giving them a 4-star rating. After a few late nights here, I'll come by and potentially change my rating to a 5-star rating depending on how the night goes. More info later ...

We went there for a repass after a friend's family funeral. The staff were great. I got the turkey club, and we shared some buffalo wings. Wings were delicious. I'd recommend for a family or friend function.

The Old Canal Inn is a landmark here (check it out in Weird NJ), but it's not a great place for a night out. The food is ok - typical bar fare & it's tasty. The problem is when there's live entertainment. The acoustics are painful. When the band is playing, you cannot have a conversation, even if you are yelling. We like to go to bars to hear live music, and there are better choices nearby.

Awesome beer list.  Old and funky with games and low prices.  Dive atmoaphere.  Loud and fun.

Good food and great selection of beers. Very diverse crowd in a clean looking bar. Several bar games and occasional​ live music.
