One of Trumbull's quiet parks at any season. Used it for Winter photography. Good for the kids to run around.

The mile loop is a perfect hike for kids. Then stop at the beginning of the trail and have a snack at a shaded picnic table. The chipmunks are adorable to watch.

A basic town park. Trumbull has improved it greatly over the years. They've landscaped it, connected it via the "Rails to Trails" program (paved path to Trumbull Center) and added a couple pavilions for events. The local Cub and Boy Scouts utilize the park for camping and there are numerous others found hiking and biking in the area. 

Doing some research, you'll find mention of the old mine here and history of the other amenities that used to support the mine. Tungsten, Amethyst  , quartz and mica were mined here and can still be found if you are a rock hound. Worth a visit for a nice, easy and short hike through the park on the dirt trail.

Good place. Used to be an excellent place, but changed after the remodel. Still a pleasant place to walk and chill
