Very nice park and well maintained (as best as can be done with the limited budget the CT State Parks get). The staff works very hard to make this an attractive park to visit. Can be VERY busy on hot summer days, especially weekends and the visitors trash the place. Peaceful in the off-season.

It is beautiful. Good place for picnics. Was there recently viewing the regatta. View of water ids beautiful. From what i could see, there is a huge grassy area for activities like bringing family there to play soccer etc. Too far from my city but if you're in the area check it out!

I have been coming here for over 50 years.  Great trails,  good beach and fun lake for water skiing and fishing.

Nice little park to take the kids to get out of the house or even for a small family get together. Its nothing extra special but its a nice area to relax and let the kids swim.
