Nice place looks like it could have had a ton of history. Great waitress. Pricing was about normal a touch high. Chicken wings were great. A little pricey by about $2. The other 2 items we ordered was good just seemed to be missing something to make us say wow I want to get this again. Portions were good. We are willing to try different items there again plus maybe the wings. The food seem to have nice presentation.

Cozy, Historic Tavern Stopped by for lunch and has a very enjoyable time. This place reeks of history (in a good way). See was very friendly and helpful. I only took one star off because they do not take reservations for dinner, and when we tried for that the next day at about 7pm, the wait was already 45 minutes to an hour.

Menu seemed to be very 80's, with lots of cheese and cream sauces on everything, plus a fair amount of fried food. Told the waiter I was looking for something a little lighter , such as a piece of fish that wasn't fried. He said he'd ask the kitchen. He came back and said the chef would fix me the fish that was usually fried, and broil it instead. I gratefully accepted and ordered the baked potato and green beans with it. I was looking forward to a nice fish dinner - after all, they have 3 chefs listed by name on the menu. What was served to me was a dried out, curled up, freezer burned piece of unrecognizable fish with a cold baked potato. The fish was inedible. Waiter took the potato back and returned with a warmer one that was discolored and overcooked from being in a steam table too long. At no point did the Waiter offer to replace the fish or even ask if everything was OK, even after I asked that the uneaten meal be removed from the table. He left the check and we never saw him again. My husband had the turkey, which in other years has been fine (We go about once a year.) But he was so upset he couldn't enjoy it. I am an older woman (mid-sixties) and I guess they thought, "Here's an old lady who just wants something bland." Obviously no one cared what my dinner looked like or tasted like. The fish was not even seasoned with salt, butter or lemon. I tried putting these condiments on it, but still couldn't eat it. And it was certainly not the fresh fish I had anticipated, but frozen. I really thought this was a fine enough restaurant for me to expect a nice meal, but nobody cared. If nothing else, how did they know we weren't VIPS or food critics? We left $50 poorer, and hungry. Never, EVER again.

A nice little pub with a few hundred years of history. The menu is really impressive, with options both complex and simple. This is not a grill pub that just slings burgers and fries. The menu is diverse and provides something for everyone. My party had the pork chops (thick and juicy), steak (tasty) and the jambalaya -- all three were very good. Beer options are above average with some local samplings. Servers are pleasant. No reservations between 4 and 8 p.m.

Went last night with friends. Cocktails were tasteless and extremely small. Two sips and drink was finished! Food was average. But service was awful. Also felt rushed. Bus staff would lean over people in our party who were eating to pick up plates across the table! You couldn't put your fork down because they would run over and try to take your dish. No water or coffee refills either! Not going back.
