This review is not meant to harm this business reputation nor the employees. I will give my feedback as I want people to  be fully aware of what might happen before they decide to take their jewelry to this establishment. 
I went to sell almost never used and good quality gold jewelry and a diamond ring which was bought for over 6000 dollars. The first time I walked in, they took my stuff to the back room and out of sight to have a look at it. I was offered 1500 cash on the spot for everything but as I looked unconvinced they asked me to come back on Saturday to meet with another person. 
I went there on Saturday and they offered me 600 dollars for everything and a 50 dollar gift card. They took my stuff back and forth, in and out of the back room as other customers walked in and out the shop, this took about an hour of my time. The employee kept going back and forth saying my ring was bad quality and that they could take it on consignment to sell for 1500 and pay me half, that it could take months to sell and so on. In the end as I was walking out the store with my stuff, which by the way took me a while to get back from them, they offered me 800 cash and a 50 dollar gift card. I decided to go home and not sell because I felt that the price is way low and to be honest I rather walk out with my head held high than walk with 800 and the feeling of being ripped off. The first time the consignment was never mentioned nor the fact that they would pay half of what it was sold for. I know this is a business and it's how they make money, I'm not complaining about the employees who are just trying to make a buck as well but the lack of transparency and fair payment for good quality stuff left me really disappointed.

I had a good service when I visited the store to sell some gold. They got me a price match of the highest quote I previously got from a different store and that saved me the trip to go back to the other one. Thank you Adrien for being helpful.

Aweful service with the so called manager from Oakville. Complete rip off will be going above to get the item back

Called back saying if I didn't remove my review he would leave a bad review on my place of work... good luck and not professional.

I had a wonderful experience today at Oliver's Jewellers in Oakville. Jonas and another guy (whose name I don't know) were very friendly and helpful.  I was apprehensive about selling and Jonas did not push me to sell. He showed excellent customer service and explained to me in detail everything I needed to know regarding my jewellery. I ended up not selling because i needed more time to think it through but I will definitely be going back.

Bad service.  Thousands of dollars of rings and chains.  Offered two hundreds.  Rude. Will not give back money. Sad and illegal.  Do not go again. Lie about appraisal.  Make me sick!!!
