I come here for the great golf courses. 4 really great and challenging courses here. Played 2 courses in February and the fairways and greens are pretty rough. I have played all 4 courses in the summer and they are wonderful. Beautiful vista's! Lots of construction going on right now (Feb 2018) so facilities may be limited. We stayed in the Owners Club Villas which are ideal for a small group. I highly recommend Barton Creek Resort, especially for golf enthusiasts.

Wow! High you end hotel with spacious rooms and nice amenities.

We were there for the Superbowl.  They brought out free hot dogs and a nice selection of condiments at half time, a really nice touch.

On Tuesday evening, they had a free "chocolate bar".  It was well done with nice selection and an all you can eat attitude. needless to say, I got my fill of chocolate. 😁

The hotel is huge, so if you get a room at the far end from the reception, you have a bit of a hike, but our room was worth the walk.  Several sets of stairs and elevators so you don't all back up in one spot.

I attended a marketing conference here and loved the resort! The staff was friendly and very helpful. I utilized the fitness center which has a running track, pool, sauna, weights & machines. I was very impressed with the quality of the fitness center and resort overall. I wish the weather was better so I could have explored outside.

We just spent three nights here and had a very pleasant stay.  It's in a beautiful location, the staff is remarkably helpful and courteous, it's extremely quiet, and the food is not bad.  The hotel is undergoing renovations, but this didn't impact our stay at all.  Our room definitely needed updating (as does the whole place), but it was comfortable and clean, and we never heard a sound from another guest (and the hotel appeared to be reasonably full). After staying in several new chain hotels in recent months where we were consistently awakened by noise from other rooms or the hallway, we particularly appreciated the quiet nature of this place.  We'd definitely stay here again.

Was here for a conference in late February. The room was spacious and clean but during my stay the power went out in my room and was shaky it seemed for the whole floor. My room key also deactivated during my stay which hasn't happened in a long time requiring a long journey through the crazy layout of the hotel back to the front desk. Overall, this Omni compared to others I've stayed at just had the feeling of being old and run down.
The staff was nice and helpful. Their complimentary shuttle service within a 3 mile radius of the hotel is great too as it is pretty isolated.
The most disappointing part of our stay was the food. The dinner we had in the hotel restaurant the first night was totally blah and devoid of flavor. There wasn't a bright spot in the whole meal. From other folks at the conference, I was assured they had similar or worse experiences. The breakfast each morning of the conference was also one of the most lack luster I've ever encountered.
I'm usually a huge fan of Omni hotels and was disappointed in my overall stay here.
