Called around to 3 other places on the island and this is the only one that offered half day rentals. Who can surf all day, haha! Staff was helpful and kind and the shop was cool to check out as well. If you want a soft top surf board to play around at the Jetty for a bit, then I️ think this is the place.

The people in this shop are very knowledgeable and friendly. They didn't seem to mind taking their time to answer all of our questions on any of the visits we made while in SPI. One guy even noticed my son looking at the skateboards and started talking to him about them while my husband was talking to another employee about something else we had came in for. That might seem like no big deal, but to my son it was pretty cool and to me that was a nice gesture that really stood out. This is not your typical SPI souvenir shop. They have top quality items and lots of things you can't find at the other shops. Definitely a shop worth stopping at if you're looking for quality items.

Great selection! Nice, more upscale shop. I've been going there for 30 plus years now. Every time I'm in South Padre I drop by, and I go to South Padre a couple times a year. My family's favorite Surf Shop!!
