Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made right at your table. Everything pairs nicely with a grande margarita, and of course, enjoy the always endless chips and salsa.

The manger here is wonderful!!! I eat at the Rockwall OTB a lot because it is usually open when i get off work. I usually eat alone because of that. Three staff and manager made me feel like family and kept checking on me to make sure I had everything I needed. The manager also is very supportive to his staff and cleans tables, greets guests with chips and salsa, and helps deliver food along with all his manger duties of checking in the guest experience... all around an EXCELLENT experience multiple visits now. Love this place!!!

We took our Wonderful Grandson to his favorite place. On The Border for his 21st birthday tonight.It could not have been better. I don't think I have seen anyone eat 5 bowls of hot sauce and 3 or 4 baskets of chips while waiting for the food. He is one of our growing grandkids. He tried to keep his birthday quite, but it got out some way ! (?). The people at the table next to us we're from Iowa, and one of them had a birthday too. What fun.Great service all the faces from the staff. Next our birthday boy got his chocolate cake and a song . ALL was Perfect . Thank you On the Border for making this a great time ! 6

Came in at 11:00 am. Early lunch. Don't recommend. Chips were chewy, not fresh. Waitress was slow, and the food tasted...off. It seems the good chefs work in the evening. Lol. It really wasn't /that/ bad. But I wouldn't return... for lunch... again. At least not this particular restaurant.

We've been eating at the Rockwall, TX location regularly for over 5 years. The last few months we noticed a decline in the taste of the food. Yesterday, however, was the worst. To start, when we ordered our food we were told they now serve the rice and beans "family style", which was fine with us, until it was served. After our order was taken, we waited and waited, we were the only people in the entire section. After about 20 minutes a waitress brought me the ticket! I started looking for a manager because aside from the ridiculous wait time, getting the check first is so rude. Finally our waitress came by and when I asked for the manager and she saw the ticket holder in my hand she said there was a miscommunication of some sort. Then our food finally came out. It was TERRIBLE. As well as the "family style" rice and beans were inedible. It appeared the beans were shook from a can and left out. They had a dried out crust on the top. Also, had it been my family of 5, which has 3 men, instead of 5 girls, there's no way the tiny bowls would have served more than 2 of them.I was so over the entire experience that I paid the ticket, leaving a note on it and we left. It was such a waste of $80. We ended up leaving most of the food. We won't be back. There are too many other Mexican restaurants that are happy to serve us.

The food was great, the server was very attentive even considering it was busy. They didn't rush to put our order in. Food came out promptly. Nice environment.
