Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made right at your table. Everything pairs nicely with a grande margarita, and of course, enjoy the always endless chips and salsa.

I took my girlfriend on a date last night after work where we had both just completed a 10 hour shift and just wanted to get a good meal and end the day on a good note. Well, that did not happen. The hostess and another employee were very polite and friendly and seemed to be enjoying their day at work. Unfortunately they were not serving my girlfriend and me. Jared was our waiter and he had the attitude where he hates his job and could care less how he treats customers. At first I shrugged it off thinking he was just having a rough day. I’ve worked in the food industry for a few years and I get that I really do. But he kept getting worse and worse as the night went on. Granted we got there 40 minutes before closing but again I have a few years in food and the service industry and 40 minutes is still acceptable. What was unacceptable was Jared’s attitude. He was overly sarcastic and was openly upset over something in front of us as well as an older couple seated behind us. He was slamming the cash drawer and making all sorts of racket. But when who I think was the manager came out to check on everyone he made us feel even more uncomfortable. I say I guess because of the way he was acting. I am usually a great guest and tipper due to my background in the service industry but I should not feel uncomfortable at a restaurant. We honestly wanted to leave the whole time. And to top it all off, Jared or the “manager” was apparently talking about my girlfriend and I to the other couple sitting behind us. And even then they treated the other couple like garbage. I am a very understanding person and I get that we are all human so I never get too worked up but right now I am genuinely pissed off at the way we were treated. I would like to speak to someone that has some say so towards what goes on at that establishment and give even more details towards what was happening. I have been in all positions from grunt to manager in the service industry and I have never seen that level of disrespect. Not even when I worked at a local bar. I have a picture and copy of my receipts and it goes without saying that I will never be going back to that “On The Border” again.

I highly do not recommend this restaurant. It took over an hour for our food, which was 4 tacos, to come out and then the food was cold like it just came out of the refrigerator. Our waiter seemed very overwhelmed. We waited for 45 minutes for our water to be re-filled. Do not waste your time or money. Will not be going back.

I do not recommend at all bringing your family to this establishment! It was not busy what so ever, yet it took a long time for them to clean one table. It seemed all food preperation is done in the microwave. I do not blame the waitress for the food, but when we complained about what was put before us she became very defensive. Oh... and dont even think you are safe with ordering nachos. Save your money which was over 11, go to the grocery store by whole bag chips and shredded cheese and microwave.. Very disappointed expecially for the fact after all that it was a $44 bill!

The carne asada and the chicken & shrimp was extremely good. Had a great time with the staff.

Took family there at lunch on a sat. Our Server had a great attitude. Thats the only good thing I can say. Food took forever. Queso dip took 20 plus minutes. Food seemed like it was on its 3rd time through a microwave. Other servers were walking around on there phone. Some were openly complaining about their tables as they walked away. Another knocked stuff off a table on accident. Stopped looked at it and walked away. Spend your money elswhere.
