Terrible service for a couple on Valentine's Day. Server got a call, pulled phone out her phone to check who it was, and left the phone ringing while she took our order. Lots of curry and a small amount of rice for portions (half as much as anywhere else we've gone). We asked for another serving of steamed rice and did not find out that they charge $2 per serving on rice until we paid. When we were given our dishes they forgot to give us plates as well. Green curry was pretty good but the Pumpkin curry was very rich in the wrong way and I would personally not recommend it. I have not eaten at other Thai restaurants in Bend but I would not recommend Orchid to a friend.

The food was edible, however, that was it.  I had the pad thai, it was drenched in this peanut sauce that tasted like it had a mayo base and the chicken and noodles were extremely overcooked.  I also ordered a soft drink off the menu to only realize it was a single can that costs 2 dollars.  Would not recommend this place.

Wayne ordered the  pineapple curry and I ordered the cashew nut dish. Both of us thought the food and service was excellent. Will definitely be back. The Thai iced tea is sweet and yummy. The restaurant was spotless
