Dr. Balish is absolutely an amazing surgeon, he has such a great personality, and I am so glad I chose him to do my lens replacement surgery!!! I would never go to anyone else! My vision is now 20/20!!
Dr. Balish's team does a very thorough evaluation every visit and makes it clear that smoking is very detrimental to eye health. He helps me save money by determining what vitamins will help and advised me to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. He is kind and helpful and encouraging and I'm so happy I found him.
Very friendly staff and Dr. Balish is really nice too! They made the process of eye evaluations really easy. Very professional all around but make you feel like their care is personal.
MD Balish was 40 minutes late in examining my eyes. I believe it takes only 10 minutes for eye dilation! He did not event apologize for his tardiness. He seemed not to care! He exhibited poor patient manner! I switched physicians at this juncture!
I just had a great appointment with Dr. Balish. He provided me with a thorough, professional exam and plan for follow up. I appreciate his care.
I didn’t have to wait more than about 10 to 15 minutes before I was taken back to the exam room. The tech was thorough and informative. When she was done I only waited another 10 minutes or so before the doctor came in. He explained what needed to happen and asked if I had questions. He did not rush me. I liked him.
Dr Balish is very thorough and pleasant. I saw him for the first time yesterday and he explained the status of my 3 eye conditions and his treatment plans very well. I’m really pleased.

I loved Dr Balish and the assistant who helped him. They were very professional and kind. The front desk assistant was rude, condescending and made my mom and me feel like we had screwed up when we were given incorrect information. Extremely frustrating and ruined her day.
Amazingly, Dr. Balish made a difference with my chronic dry eye. I’ve suffered with it for 20 years, have seen over a dozen doctors, and was put on expensive, time-consuming, and laborious treatments, none of which helped. Dr. Balish’s methodical, steady approach never felt overwhelming or too high maintenance. Now I’m on a regimen of serum tears, cyclosporine, Meibo drops, and warm compresses. It sounds like a lot but it’s not bad at all compared to what I’ve had to do in the past. My eyes are less dry, red, and irritated… probably the best state they’ve been in 20 years. Besides having the wisdom to figure out what would work for me, his compassionate and gentle manner helped just as much. Rather than make me feel like I need to do more and spend more, like many other doctors did, he always tried to minimize the impact to my life and my wallet. He healed not only my eyes but also my stress level!
