My father opened Max's Son in Daly City in 1978 at the Serramonte Center. Almost 40 years later, Max's still remains a Bay Area favorite. With the re-opening of "Original Max's" in Burlingame, we've combined old world delicatessen with new modern foods and a menu and cocktails for all generations. We've taken hand cut corned beef and pastrami to whole new level, knishes with brie, fig and apple, farro and quinoa salads for the grain lovers and one my new favorites, crispy pork belly with bacon jam(don't tell the Rabbi) There is a lot of family pride in the restaurant so come on by and say hello.
