I love this park, been going there at least once a year for the last 15 years. It is a family campground so if you are looking to use it as a stop over to some where else or are just looking to drink all night, this is not for you. People come here to hike all day and enjoy a bit of scenery. Sites are small so that large groups don't form and destroy the peaceful environment. After 10 is quiet time and after a long day of hiking it is much welcomed. The Campground is well maintained, the hosts have always been friendly and I have never had a ranger say more than hello to me unless I chose to speak to them and when I do they are friendly as well. A creek passes right by some of the sites and the sound at night when you are in your tent is amazing. There are bugs but I would hope most would expect that. Stay on the trails and use some bug spray.

Quiet and beautiful camp ground. We stayed with 2 years old son, and he enjoyed beautiful scenery. Camping car or big group are not appropriate for this place, but it's perfect for small group without camping car. Restroom was clean.

Overall experience was alright but there are several things that stood out that made my experience less enjoyable. First off, the actual spot you can put your tent on is tiny. We couldn't fit two 3-person tents on it. Then we set the second one up next to our firepit (the only other place we could fit it) and the park ranger and host came and woke us up at 6am telling us we had to move our tent to the designated little spot (where it wouldn't fit) or we had to take it down. So unnecessary. Next, they came to our campground two more times over our two night stay telling us to keep quiet (it was around 10pm). We understood it is a "family" campground, but they were treating it like a library. We had to whisper by or campfire which really was a hinderence on our time there. Overall I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it.

Reservations required. Nothing mentioning that online. Signs when you enter the campground.

The nature and people were fantastic, but there are too many bugs including ticks. The tent site itself is a little bit smaller than in other campgrounds.
