The Owings Mills Branch is 54,300 square feet and opened to the public on March 21, 2013 as part of the County Campus at Metro Centre. The building, which is a shared facility with the Community College of Baltimore County, is a LEED Silver building.
Free parking is available at two garages which are located on either side of the library building.
The Hubert V. Simmons Museum of Negro Leagues Baseball is a free museum that is located at the Owings Mills Branch and is open during all library operating hours.
