I skipped the extra distance to go to my regular dry cleaner and can't say I'm particularly happy with my experience. I brought a two-piece suit in on a Tuesday afternoon and asked if it would be ready on sometime Thursday. I got an unintelligible answer about how the pick-up and drop-off occurs at various times and how it could be Thursday, but there was no way to be sure. How can you run a business like this and not know your process? The cost was not cheap either. 15% more than my regular dry cleaner. I don't really mind paying a bit more, but the worst part was when I tried to pay by credit card (over their $10 minimum) I was told it would be an extra 10% charge. Completely unacceptable. Luckily, I had enough cash on me to foot the bill. At least my suit is clean and looks good.

AVOID THIS PLACE - What a rip off!!! They have so many hidden charges: For instance, there's an attenuated service fee of 10 bucks -yeah you pay them in addition to paying them for the dry cleaning service. And, there is an additional pick up fee of 10 bucks, and an additional fee of another 10 bucks for delivery... These guys are just out to milk every penny out of you! AND, you MUST pay a 20% tip!!! The dry cleaning isn't anything to write home about, either!!! I seriously do NOT recommend this place!!!

What I do not like about Oxford Laundry is that THEY ARE NOT CHEAP and THEY ARE NOT FAST. I brought them a single pair of pants to be dry cleaned. They charged me $8.15 for ONE PAIR OF PANTS. They also do not dry clean at their Porter Square location - instead, they put everything into a van and dry clean it somewhere else. I brought it in on a Thursday - they told me they couldn't get it to me until Monday. Monday!! Completely ridiculous. I am never coming here again.

Oxford Laundry is a prime example of why I love Cambridge and the Agassiz Community. It is a quaint and family-run business that offers both a coin-op laundromat, wash-dry-fold services, and dry cleaning. I have been using Oxford Laundry for a couple of years now. The couple that owns the store are extremely friendly and helpful and their work is always very detailed and nothing less than top notch. The laundromat provides a cheap option for laundry perfect for students, while their wash-dry-fold is a great time saver and perfect for the weeks when you don't want to worry about spending a lot of time on your laundry. It's a bit over a block away from Mass Ave, which can be a bit annoying, but they have parking in front of the store and the great service is definitely worth it even though I have to trek a bit farther.

What I think is great about Oxford Laundry is that they are cheap and they get the job done well. I've dropped off both dry cleaning and laundry here to be washed. The dry cleaning comes back the following day, crisp and beautifully cleaned. Also washed laundry can be done within a matter of hours! I couldn't believe it. I've tried a number of dry cleaners on Mass Ave and they were all either over-priced, didn't clean well, or both. But at Oxford, everything is cheap, fast, and they do a great job of cleaning to boot. I'm glad I found this place.
