Love the atmosphere, but access is challenging. Wish it would change. Love it though. Mostly what I'd like to say about Palestine Pines the map shows the whole area in green and my RV park is in that green area mostly Palestine Pines is the area of County Road 1182 that goes around the lake Bend and there is a campground at the end of the lake that isn't used much that has Lake access it's a beautiful area and it has wonderful people here and there are campgrounds here rental spaces,places to bring your RV it is a wonderful place to be,and live.

Trailer campers beware. This is one of those traps to avoid at all costs. Every space - including those so-called "lakeside" spots they'll tell you about on the phone are so close together that you can't even open your awning without hitting the trailer next to you. A classic parking lot for the unaware. The "zero tolerance for drunkenness, disorderliness, and foul language" sign at the front means nothing as well, as all three were not only tolerated but seemingly encouraged throughout the night. If you are looking for a quiet spot or something family friendly, please avoid this place. Best to you in finding something nearby.
