The Palm Springs Art Museum Architecture and Design Center, Edwards Harris Pavilion is the hub of the museum's exploration of architecture and design. Located in downtown Palm Springs the Architecture and Design Center houses related exhibitions, educational, and community programs, as well as research space and vaults for the museum's growing architecture, design collections and archives. Visitors can also explore and shop the Bradford W. Bates Vault: The Museum Design Store.
The building, designed by renowned mid-century modern architect E. Stewart Williams, is located at 300 South Palm Canyon Drive and was originally designed to house the Santa Fe Federal Savings and Loan. A prime example of mid-century modern design.
