Story

Palmetto Dental Associates has been a vibrant part of the Lexington and greater Columbia dental community for many years, and 2017 marks the practice’s 21st anniversary. Founded in 1996 by Dr. Mike “Crick” Davenport and Dr. Frankie Shull, PDA has now grown to include two locations and four dentists. Doctors Frankie Shull, Chris Campbell, Brandon Cain, and Caroline Thomas enjoy sharing their time between the Lexington office, located just off Highway 378 behind Columbia Eye Clinic, and the Irmo office, previously that of Dr. Lynn Campbell, which is on the corner of St. Andrews Road and Harbison Boulevard.

In a day and age when impersonal corporate dental offices are a-dime-a-dozen, PDA takes pride in providing comprehensive and esthetic dental care in a relaxed, professional, and positive environment where each patient is truly treated as part of the family. The state-of-the-art facilities are continually updated to offer the very best in dental technology. From cosmetic enhancements to implant-supported dentistry, the highly skilled team spends many hours each year taking continuing education courses to remain abreast of the latest techniques in order to provide the best dental treatment available. The doctors also teach, lecture, and write both locally and nationally.
