We visit this park several times a month. They have a great dog park, tons of walking paths, paddle boats, fishing, docks and so much more! Events happen every few months so make sure to keep up with their Facebook page! Great family place with picnic space and kid parks. There is also a eater park for younger children and families open in the summer months.

Beautiful park, a real find for hikers, nature lovers, and lots of areas for children. A variety of ecosystems, upland pines to waterfront. We stumbled upon it on a visit with family in Charleston, spent hours there, can't wait to return. Easily accessible, plenty of parking, small fee paid to county to enter. A wonderful experience to enjoy SC nature!

Perfect for hiking up to three miles, if you walk all the trails. The shorter trails are paved. The longer ones are dirt, and in some places there are roots crossing the path. Well-placed restrooms are clean and in good repair. Great views, plenty of picnic tables, plenty of open space and shady spaces.

Great park. Good running/walking trails. Very clean and great views. Pleanty of parking and very safe. Good place for fishing. Nice/clean restrooms. Great for pets and they even have a small dog play area. Several nice playgrounds for the kids. Great views for taking pictures.

Extremely disappointing “dog park”, ie fenced in grass and mud area under high voltage power lines that, unsurprisingly, hardly anyone uses. Compared to the James Island county park this is a sad joke for Mt Pleasant residents.
