I didn’t even know these places were still open. Haven’t been to a Panchos since I was a child. I’ll admit all I remember as a kid was the dessert at the end and raising the flag. Four stars for service. Waitress was very nice and everyone was very friendly. Food wasn’t up to par though. Which I understand I guess since it’s Mexican buffet. Hospital food is what it reminded me of. Still brought back memories. Thank you.
My husband and I have been wanting to come for awhile. But the one by us closed down. So we made the trip to Arlington. Everything tasted just as I remembered. It was all hot and delicious. I will always say these are the BEST chili rellenos. The stand out was our waitress. I didn't get her name, but she was very sweet. Always smiling. And very attentive.
It's probably been about 20 years since I stepped foot in a Panchos. When I was younger I'd stuff myself. I was undecisive about lunch and thought I'd see if it was still good. There weren't a lot of customers but the food was good, the service was great and it was clean. Only complain was that the booth bench was so sunken in I felt like a child trying to eat at the big people table.
This Pancho's location is awesome, always hot fresh delicious food and always friendly, smiling courteous staff taking good care of you. If you didn't know now you know so get down there and you and your family and enjoy lunch or dinner. You can't go wrong there
Took a trip down memory lane. Food was ok. Service was great. Didn’t raise the flag. We don’t eat like we did 40 years ag.
I loved this location! Panchos used to be in El Paso, TX about 20 years ago, but they closed! so finding it out here was so exciting. I told the staff I was taking food to my dad all the way to El Paso and they packed me up with extra care. The staff was so sweet and the food was delicious! I recommend this place!Recommended dishesBeef Enchilada Cheese Enchiladas, Enchiladas Tamale and Refried Beans, Sopapillas, Cheese Enchiladas Rice Beans and Cheese
Tonight we celebrated my mom's 75th birthday. We had a party of 17 and we had a really good time. The service was really good and the Husband and wife team were really amazing. The food was decent and very inexpensive. Love the nostalgia as well and I will definitely visit again.
It was good! Big variety of food. They also have desserts including ice cream & best of all sopapillas!
If you liked it then, you will like it now. Classic Pancho's flavors, served fresh, hot and with friendly service the entire time. $11.99 for lunch now on weekdays and a great value for the variety and opportunity to eat as much as you want. The flag doesn't raise as much as it did in the past but it could and we get a kick out of it. So cool this area still has a couple of these blast from the past but good enough we will continue to go in the future. It's been a long time as we lived out of state a few years but we will be back once a month for sure. Good business today even at 2:00 pm and most places can't say that. Prevecho!
I've been hearing a lot of nostalgic comments about this place so we tried it for Taco Tuesday. It's laid out more like a cafeteria than a buffet except for the soup/salad and dessert area, but when you're ready for more "hot" food you can raise the flag and the server will get you more. It's the same price as going to Taco Casa or something, so this is a way better value. The food isn't fancy by any means but I can see where it would satisfy a craving. It's one of those places that you find yourself in a specific mood for. My 10-year-old absolutely loves it so we go once every few weeks. The dining area does look like it could stand a deep cleaning but it's not enough to deter us from going. Kid-friendliness: My son loves this place, honestly. The food overall is very kid friendly.
