I love most Paneras, but the service at this one is a bit rude. After waiting for half an hour and not receiving my mobilr order, I eventually approached the counter and asked if my food was ready. They asked me if I was sure I actually ordered food. 😧 I said yes. They then proceeded to tell me that I had probably ordered at the wrong Panera... all this without even checking their system. After arguing with them for a while, I eventually got them to check. Turns out the mistake was their fault... On the bright side, they then apologized and gave me a free cookie. 🍥

My wife and I have been frequenting Panera Bread for close to 15 years. Our visits are usually great. Friendly service. Quick food delivery times. Clean restaurants. Relaxed atmosphere. Our visit to the Panera Bread in the Oxmoor Mall failed in nearly every aspect of this. So much so that visiting this location again is out of the question. This debacle of a visit started as soon as we started to place our orders. The General Manager (Ronnie) came over to tell us that food delivery would be about 20 minutes (maybe less) because they were “slammed by a couple soccer teams”. To be honest, I should have followed my gut instinct and gone elsewhere, but we hadn’t eaten at Panera in a few weeks so we decided to wait it out. About ten minutes later our pager went off, so I went to the food delivery area to get our orders. I stood there while other names were called and people walked away with their food. The orders were being put up on the ledge frantically by Ronnie, but Ronnie was having a bad day. Apparently she wasn’t used to this kind of customer flow and it was getting to her. She was short with customers and, in general, not very pleasant or professional. When called out on this behavior by another customer all she did was shrug as if to say “What do you expect me to do about it?”. After that she walked away and I heard say a word that ended in “…itch” under her breath. (I am not making this up). When the same customer came back to ask her name and to tell her he was going to contact the corporate office he got the same angry, irritated, indifferent shrug. After standing there at least another 10 minutes after our pager went off another manager noticed I had been for quite some time while everyone else who was waiting already had their orders. He asked what my order was and I gave him my receipt. Apparently they hadn’t even started my order yet, although I was paged over 10 minutes ago. The nice gentleman asked where we were sitting and said they’d bring it out to us shortly. Fast forward over 5 minutes longer and our food was finally brought out. The order was accurate, however my sandwich (Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt) wasn’t exactly as warm as it should have been, meaning they didn’t cook it long enough (if I had a thermometer with me I’m sure it wouldn’t have passed any kind of temperature test). The salad I had, while a half-portion, looked more like a mini-portion. This visit was, by far, the worst I have ever had at any Panera location. From the Ronnie the Angry Manager to the food delivery time that took nearly 30 minutes to the quality of the food, there is absolutely no reason for me to return to this location.

Slowest Panera I’ve ever been to in my life... cashier was basically a zombie standing there... waited 20 minutes with a not packed store at 944AM for a sandwich and a smoothie. Unacceptable And the food was terrible. Could have just stayed home and butchered a sandwich smh. Won’t be back

I was pissed they got rid of my favorite sald. Left my item there came back, and cashier remebered me by name with my lost item and a smiling face you guys are awesome and a cookie to make it even better
