Absolutely love Papa John's pizza. But it tends to be very pricy. So we end up ordering elsewhere. It is a real treat when I get to eat here though.

Probably the better pizza place in the local area. Not that it has much to compete with. The consistency is "hit and miss" especially on my last visit. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, simple yeah? It was so saturated with grease that I literally couldn't eat it. Not only was the pizza greasy, but the entire box was greasy. 

BOTTOM LINE: Pizza is decent, however, you will have more good times than you will bad just like you would with any restaurant experience. My #1 pick for pizza in Shelbyville TN regardless.

Poor service. We had to say goodbye to Papa John's in Shelbyville, Tn. tonight and will shop elsewhere in this area from on. Two weeks ago we ordered pizza for delivery and ask them to please bring sprinkled red peppers and parmesan cheese. When the order was delivered, it was just the pizza only... Wow really??
Well, we let it go. it happens.... Now, tonight same order again, but this time I told the lady on the phone and she apologized. Then I told her, first I want the packet of red pepper and parmesan cheese before ordering the pizza this time. Yes, of course no problem sir, she said. The pizza was delivered. What???
So...... no red pepper.... Then, I was a little RED!
I had to call to let her know and then she said, we are supposed to charge for the packets. I told her, so you agree to send and then don't. That made me more upset. I said I don't care If it is a charge or not I want what I want.... You could of said this when I first called you... Ok I said, NO MORE Papa Johns for me at this place...
