Well, first off I would have liked for this to be a praise, because Papa John's in my opinion is the best pizza I've had and always order from them, any location in San Diego, have been a rewards member for a while now, always use my points and order from Papa John's. I never had a problem until today. So I visited the Papa John's on Plaza Blvd in National City, Ca. I had ordered from this location earlier and got a large pizza and chicken wings. Loved it, didn't have a complaint about the delivery, even tipped the driver. So I come an hour later wanting to get more food because now my son is home and my husband is hungry. I asked the woman I believe her name is Corina, not sure I left in a bad mood and didn't pay attention. I asked her why the rewards didn't work if I bought from inside the store and she explained it to me but I was just expressing since I buy from them all the time it would make sense to include in store as well as online orders to the rewards points ( she didn't look interested in my concern, fair enough, I'm an annoying customer.) But when I started to place my order, she interrupted me because the man behind me needed change(he was not a customer, he came from the bank next door, he could have waited at the bank to get change but decided to come to papa John's, not sure who knows why (????) She proceeded to give him his change while I waited there and asked OK I WAS ORDERING AND U JUST INTERRUPTED ME FOR THAT? and she said I'M STILL LISTENING. I get it, people can multitask, it's a good trait to have, I have it, I'm a mother. But I feel it was very rude. Because I was ordering and asking what does a small look like and she was giving me NO ATTENTION what so ever. So I said nevermind I don't want anything now. And she said in the nastiest way OK HAVE A GOOD DAY! And slammed her register drawer. So. I'm. PISSED. I have worked, customer service, all types of people, ages. And I have never IN MY LIFE treated any customer/client/ resident the way she treated me. So. I need something to be done about it. I am not only upset now, but I am second guessing never buying papa John's ever again , atleast from that store because of the experience I had the second time .

Customer service sucks. Pizza is good. Delivery driver stated total and that's it. Not up to standards of other papa johns

Friendly staff and they had my pizza ready way before the estimated time. No complaints here.

Pizza is made well. Delivery needs work. Pizza has arrived warm not hot for the most part. I still recommend this place compared to Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and Little Caesars.

They often get orders wrong. Quality has been poor 4 out of 5 visits (often overcooked or thrown together sloppily). Why did I keep trying? Well, because I've been a lover of Papa John's for years from other locations, but this one can't get it together.
