Just stumbled onto this place today. Seems to be a nice park except for the garbage left everywhere. It's too bad the dozen garbage cans around aren't being utilized more. So sad. Really cool setup for BBQ with picnic tables, shelter and restrooms. Awesome and steep sledding hill. 
The sign states horses and dogs allowed but leash for dogs. Bigger dogs need to run. Do the 'Powers That Be' not recognize that dogs can't be expected to be "chained" up everywhere they go? I clean up after my dog and take full responsibility for it. Please consider more spaces to let them be the type of animals they are.

Large Park with room for many different activities and it is never crowded

Land was sold to the city from surrounding stables to make a community park that included horse trails, and now there is a baseball field, and horse riders are getting tickets for riding in what was supposed to be their park.
