I go here to pick up the medications that my cat takes. Her prescriptions have to be compounded, which they advise can take a couple of days. They usually have the prescription ready in one day. Very friendly and helpful pharmacists and assistants (pharmacy techs?). It is a small place with a small clientele, so they know their regular customers. The thing that is odd about it is that there is a perfume-y gift shop in the front that takes up a lot of space and seems not to get a lot of use. When I walk through this area the counter person greets me with a friendly hello, but it is awkward because I am just trying to get a prescription filled and have no use for a potpourri.

They can compound for you, just be prepared to wait on refills. What they do is labor intensive and takes a while, that translates to 3 or more days to fill a refill.

Although I live in Davis but my job is close to Parkside Pharmacy and I get all my medication there. The pharmacist is very knowledgeable and approachable. He spends a good time explaining and advising about my medications every time. The staff even knows the customers by their names. They have a very unique compounding section where you can see everything through the window from the waiting room. Everything is super organized, neat and clean. The waiting area is kid-friendly with chalkboard to keep the kids busy while waiting for the prescription to be prepared.
They also have an outstanding boutique with a very nice selection of gifts, reasonably priced and a friendly customer service and also a very unique spa section. You will easily notice the difference between Parkside pharmacy and other chain pharmacies starting from the way the pharmacy/front store are organized up to the medical advices you get about your medications. Parkside pharmacy is what the typical neighborhood pharmacy should be.
