Hey there! Parlor: A Beauty Bar is Kansas City's first blow-dry and cosmetic bar. It's simple, really. Stop in to our shop on the Country Club Plaza and have one of our experts wash, blow-dry, and style your tresses as you walk out ready to take on any adventure or crazy Kansas City weather. The appointment is around 30 minutes, and only $35 (unless you choose from one of our decadent $10 add-ons). Become a Parlor Regular and you receive special discounts and standing appointment times! (preface; I'm a wedding photographer) My bride from last weekend and her mother and bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done at Parlor and it was amazing how fast they were! I was incredibly impressed with the speed and talent. Everyone looked great and we were not only on schedule but EARLY! The ladies were wonderful at listening to what the clients wanted and delivering. Hair and makeup lasted well throughout the night.

Parlor was fantastic! I did the bridal pretty package. Sarah was my makeup artist and was outstanding. I love make up and she did exactly what I wanted to make me look beautiful! I am so thrilled with her customer service. She is also a fantastic hair stylist  who knows what she is doing and is there to make you look pretty! Monica did my hair for my wedding. She did such a great job! I loved my hair style and she too had great customer service! She was very nice and did exactly what I wanted too. The gentleman at the front desk (I apologize I did not get his name) was just outstanding! He was extremely caring and just perfect to work with! I want to thank all three of you for making my special day so perfect! I greatly appreciate everything you did for me! I give Parlor 5 stars!

I used to visit the Leawood location as a regular customer, and I recently transitioned as a Kansas City customer. Parlor consistently offers top-notch customer service. With every visit, the hairdresser listens to my needs and my expected outcomes from the visit. I appreciate the excellent treatment that I receive at Parlor, and I anticipate remaining a customer of theirs for many years to come!

FIt me in last minute and did an amazing job ... on African American hair! Very accommodating friendly and took their time to make sure it looked flawless.

We used Parlor Beauty Bar for my daughters prom.  Her hair and make up turned out amazing!!  She took a picture of the hairstyle she wanted, Jess nailed it.  Amy did such a great job on her make up.  Can't thank you enough for making her first prom a huge success.  She was glowing when we left.
