There's not enough parking around these public facilities. Or law enforcement has taken all the spots closest to the courthouse. Metered parking is a scam. Max time is two hours. Court can go longer than that. I got a parking ticket going to court. in fact I was treated like a lower subhuman, unequal, and more like a common criminal rather than a citizen of the United States of America. Last time I checked I support paying your public servant salaries. Yet they must feel they're better than you or I cause their always treating parking spaces, traffic laws, and other public venues as if they own it. But since we share all these together shouldn't we all be following the rules. The same rules that prevent shooting unarmed individuals . See how breaking rules have a trickle down effect. I was sent to afternoon court because I missed role call. That's unusual because at Rio Hondo they do not waste an persons day by mistreating them. We all need to make a living. Hell the judge wasn't even there, so she was late too. I had to lose a half day wage, pay twice for parking and I got a ticket because my meter expired. That's a scam. I got two metered parking spaces in two different spots. And got a parking violation due to the expiration of time. $46 dollars. I feel truly feel that the more government gets these basic benefits that belittles you or I the more they feel that they're better than us. And that's a shame. I support law enforcement salaries, automobiles, and everything else government funds with my dollars they tax. Yet they get to park for free, block driveways or emergency lanes and I have to pay, get ticketed, or lose my car. Parking should be free for all at any government office, building, or courthouse. And if not... Law enforcement should have to pay too for the same metered parking spaces as I have to pay. Are they better than me? Why do they get front row? Isn't the police establishment with all the parking right around the corner? Why don't they park there? And speaking of equality the judges should follow the same rules as well. Why are they not present during role call. Why are all court houses running different set of rules. I'm not feeling equal I'm feeling a little lower, a little smaller, a little lesser than those who claim "Blew Life Matters". Blowing way with rules and regulations. To protect and serve themselves before any helping any in the community.
