I have been a patient of Dr. Barnes, and loved him! However, I brought my daughter in this morning for a visit and the receptionist was absolutely disrespectful to me. There was one receptionist who was kind and trying to help but, the other was making things difficult and acted as though I was a person unworthy of her time. We had a mix up with our insurance that caused a lot of stress due the referral process. 
What she was explaining to me made no sense, as I have never had to work with or primary care doctor in the manner she was insisting we proceed.  She made me sign documentation that now after researching, have found TriCare informs me that I under no circumstances should sign, or be asked to sign. I explained to her the process she is asking me to follow will require my husband to be in the United States to handle certain requirements. If I could call him in the Middle East, I would, it's just not that simple. She kept telling me she had family, an ex-husband, etc...that was in the military. I don't know how that helps my child get treated, but thank you to them for their service to our country. 
I won't be going back after this incident.
