My first visit to the new location proved to be as pleasant and reassuring as ever. Everyone is so pleasant and ready to help it makes you wonder is this really an auto body shop. Paul and his staff do a tremendous job. I have been going to Campanella's for years....first @ Limestone Road and now 28th street. The new location is so bright and appealing.....congrats Paul.

I came to the shop during a snow storm and while sitting in the waiting room met the owner who shared a history of the business with me. The service people were professional and helpful in getting the required service completed and in setting up a plan to get any remaining services completed. The receptionist took me for a tour of the new shop. I would recommend this business to my friends.

I came into the shop with a problem that needed fixing right away. When they first quoted me the price to fix it, I agreed right away without thinking about my budget or researching about it. Once I started looking at both, I realized that I really couldn't afford it and also that there could be cheaper options. The person I worked with looked over the parts and realized he quoted the wrong one and was also able to apply a coupon to help me out. The service that they did on the car was also very very good and honestly, my car sounds like it's brand new. If it weren't for this great combination, what could have ended in disaster on my life savings ended up being manageable with a working car to boot. Great, would definitely go back.

Brought my car in for an oil change and to run a test to see why my check engine light came on. Charged me $125 for the tests and quoted me a ridiculous price ($700) for replacing a water flow control valve, plus $300 for replacing my brakes, and recommended I take care of a few other things (total ~$1500). I couldn’t believe the quote so I told them I needed time and asked for their hourly rate. Manager would not tell me. Apparently it changes depending on the job. First place I called to get a quote on the flow control valve quoted me $300 less, the second place quoted me HALF. Obviously I was not going to pay $700 for a job that I could pay $350 for elsewhere.. I asked them about the price disparity when I went in to pick up my car and they said the other places were probably using an after-market part (they were not, told me they called and got a price from the Toyota dealership, which I confirmed). I’m not sure if the insane quote was because I am a woman and they assume I wouldn’t do my research or if their hourly rates are much higher than everyone else. Either way, I’ve gotten the part replaced at another mechanic and saved myself $350. The man operating the front desk was nice and they do offer to give you a ride to work— so there’s that. Not worth the overpriced rates.

A totally reputable, competent, professional and pleasant shop for your car care needs. I’ve had multiple dealings with them, and they’ve always been outstanding in every way. Paul Campanella is a gentleman and an asset to the community.
