Very experienced and caring couple - we raise and show Standard Poodles and met Ken and Karen about 7 years ago - have always been impressed by the level of care and gentleness they give.  Very disappointed at some of the ridiculous statements made in a few of these reviews.  Quick facts - grooming is a hairy, dusty business even with clean dogs - I know because I do most of my own grooming now.  Also, if you don't bother having your dog groomed regularly and/or your dog is matted, blame yourself, not the groomer.  You don't get clipper cuts if your dogs coat isn't pelted to the skin. Know what clip you're asking for, groomers are not mind readers or magicians. Also, your baby may not potty or drink even when offered at the groomers - many don't!  Happy to use this shop when I'm behind and would recommend them to anyone - both are very experienced trainers, AKC judge, and pro handlers besides grooming.  They taught us how to show train and handle so I'm very aware of their patience and gentle approach.

I went to the Forney location of Paw's Up last weekend. I called on a Thursday and was able to get in on Saturday morning with no issue, and given a flexible window to drop off my Pyr mix (9-9:30). She is a foster, so had a lot of matting that needed to be addressed from her past life, general bathing and nails trimmed. Ken even suggested a trim on her belly for the Summer to let more of her body have contact with cooler surfaces when she lies down, which was definitely a great idea for her. Got a call at 1:30p that she was ready to go, picked her up and she was in a great mood and very happy. 
I do appreciate that they do the trims & cuts up by the front desk area - they are out in the open, and there is something very honest and assuring about that versus having them in a back room that you can't see.
Rates were extremely reasonable compared to a vet clinic (all in I was around $65 when it would be closer to $100 for a basic groom at the vet), I would definitely recommend checking them out.

I have been using Paws Up for about 3 years now and I just love them.  Ken is a sweetheart and they take very good care of my 2 babies.

These people are terrible, careless, disgusting and greedy. Both locations are dirty and they treat their employees and the animals they see VERY poorly. I know a girl who worked for them and after she quit for being treated so bad they didn't give her her check that she earned. These people need to be put out of business or not be able to hire anyone if they can't employ correctly or legally at that! I'd suggest going ANYWHERE else other than here!!!

This is honestly the very best groomer that has ever cut my 🐕 hair the way I ask them to, and it comes out perfect Everytime.
