Nice spot. The main playground is definitely meant for older kids. There's a smaller one that's a little better for younger kids, but it's on the other side of the park. One of our favorites in Lynchburg, though honestly the pickings are rather slim

It a great little park. I use it primary for disc golfing. Their course was recently upgraded and in my opinion made it much better. It is good for Beginner to intermediate players. 

The park also has good running trails, grass fields,  baseball fields, and pavilions for the public to use.

I have been visiting this park since 2002 and it has always been a great place. There have always been a lot of options. From baseball/softball, to soccer, to walking trails, to mountain bike trails to Disc Golf with 2 baskets per tee, to tennis, to 2 separate play grounds and last but not least a rolling creek that feels amazing on a nice summer day oh yeah and pic nic tables with grills.

Nice park with lots of playground equipment, plenty of ballfields for impromptu baseball, nice frisbee golf course, and tennis courts.

Great place to take your children to. Great for walking, running, biking... pet friendly as well!
