I hope the oyster poorboys are not a sign of what is to come for all Pecks. This one was like those I could get at most any store selling an oyster poorboy. I have always love the stuffed ones from Pecks, but at this new location, I was deeply disappointed.

A lot of fried foods and they don't substitute if you wanted grilled or boiled. The catfish my son got was tough and chewy. The gumbo was good, My daughter got the boiled shrimp since she couldn't get it in her kids plate and they were over cooked which made them tough. It was very pricey.

Very good fried shrimp! A little pricey but plenty to share. Quick and good service.

The dining area was clean. The greaters were quite courteous and ready to assist and answers any questions for being my first time. Our meals were all very appealing and the food was prepared to perfection.

Great food, a little on the pricer side but no one in Slidell that has seafood like them. Great selection, sometimes you do have to wait for a table but not usually long. All around nice place
