We are a traditional European bakery, featuring artisan, made-from-scratch breads, pastries, cakes, coffees, and more! We have been serving Champaign since 2005, and just love being a part of CU. Come on by!

Story

Pekara Bakery & Bistro is a clean label artisan bakery in downtown Champaign. Serving the Champaign-Urbana community since 2005. We pride ourselves on delicious handmade pastries, cakes, and breads in which all natural ingredients are used.

We serve delicious all-day breakfast: omelettes--from local, organic eggs, traditional crepes, breakfast sandwiches, and bagels. Our lunch and dinner service features sandwiches built on our artisan breads, salads and soups. Our catering department offers box lunches, sandwich platters and pastry platters---delivery available. And for those special occasion our custom cake department will create a beautiful cake for birthdays, showers, weddings, and graduations! When you need to impress someone, thank someone, or congratulate someone....do it with Pekara style!

Of course, we also serve a great cup of coffee! We are proud to work with Intelligentsia Coffee and Rishi Tea. Our well-trained baristas serve up superb coffee just the way you like it.
