I had a lunch today because of the free pie given on Mondays. Starting with service, people seemed nice but my server seemed a bit overwhelmed. I asked for a refill on water and never got one. Now onto the food. I got the Big Country Smasher and Chocolate French Silk pie. It was decent. The smasher was pretty salty but that was expected given the description and the pie had a good filling but the whipped cream and pie crust fell short. I might go there again with friends just to try the different pies. Price range was on the higher end for college students.

I am not easily impressed but this restaurant is gorgeous, quiet and clean. The staff are respectful. There is no wine. The menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its price is moderate. I love this restaurant. I would recommend it.

The food was astounding but the best part of the experience was that wolverine himself greeted us and handled the check out process. I immediately felt at ease knowing that they had the canadian super hero handling things. Can't wait to go again.

I've seen Perkins go through staff left and right, but as far as I know they've kept 1 or 2 of the restaurant floor staff consistent, and for the most part- they're pretty good at what they do. But tonight, the staff was the absolute worst. Waiting 40 minutes for our check to show up, our section was completely unattended while their waiting staff was on the other side of the restaurant catering to a party with the utmost respect. I think I saw one other waitress attending to 2 other parties on our side? But my table had been left to fend for its own. I guess because we weren't CUPD. I'd probably say I saw our original waitress, who soon became our one of two waitresses, go back and forth avoiding our section at least 10 times. After 40 minutes, we decided to just go up to the counter- no ToGo box, no refills, nothing. We're greeted with "You guys can always come up here", so I assume that they openly abandon sections in favor of patrons helping themselves? Not likely to go back, but for all I know I'm at fault, how dare I think about taking food home or having a refill to go- a service I've been offered plenty of times before.

Going in this place at night is a horrible idea unless you want some cold food and bad service. And deal with a manager who has the slightest clue of what she is doing
