As a nurse, It was my favorite place to work.  CNA’s are in their job at all times and the support staff are excellent in doing their job.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE .  My Uncle is in Pembrooke and I am trying to get him out of there ASAP. I have witness the lack of CNAs not doing their job just hanging out at the nurses station on the floor. My only needed his Cather bag empty we hit the call button no one came for a whole hour., I even told one of the nurses in the hallway she said she will send someone and no one came. I had to empty it out myself.  The next day I could not make it up there to see him he told me he was in his own urine for almost 2 hours. SMFH..They didnt even  wash him up. This place needs to be shut down or new staff that has a freaking heart.

I would give this nursing home -5, if I could.  They have been sued many times,  patients fall and get injuries, staff denies residents medical care, does not take them out to doctors appointments, and nurse practitioner Tim takes patients off their life sustaining medications.

Great place to work and live.
Star rating is not as good as the experience!
Wonderful staff, clean ,great DON and 
Activities department!!
