This is a great little park. Parking lot for easy parking, open until 11pm, a playground, multiple lookouts, great fishing, etc. I've only seen paved pathways though, no trails, and I'm not sure if they allow swimming; although, I swam in both rivers while there. Small, but nice!

Very friendly and calm. Great fishing from the rum river or the mississippi river.

"Eight historical markers can be seen at this park, as well as the State Champion "Green Ash" Heritage Tree (shown at right). Educational signs along the footpath explain both the environmental interpretation and the historical importance of the park." per National Park Service Website.
