I understand many food places opt for hand washing and sanitizing over gloves- but the employees here were not following any hygiene protocols. Going directly from the register to bare handed handling raw cheese on the slicer; running hands through hair while handling and slicing bread; scratching face while slicing potatoes for French fries... the list goes on and on. It must have been cleaning night which is great, but what isn't great is the use of cleaning sprays around areas food is actively being prepared, and not washing your hands before switching from handling cleaning materials directly to preparing food. The only one time I saw someone wash their hands- they then dried them on their pants/shirt. This location has SERIOUSLY turned us off of Penn Station. These employees are in dire need of further training on how to be safely handling food. While eating and seeing these behaviors we were unable to fathom finishing our meals.

The subs and fries are always fresh and made to order. Prices are very reasonable given the excellent quality, and the staff is friendly. This location offers indoor or outdoor seating.

Ordered my food and I had to wait 8 mins ⏰after it had been cooked because the guy couldn't keep up. 😧NO ONE HAD GLOVES ON!!!. It was packed once my order was placed and the team members went from register to food without washing their hands. 😡
