The supposed site of William Penn's treaty with local Indian tribes. Also installation of several local pieces of art. Great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge. Also next door to one of Philadelphia's former coal fired power plants... check out the not too distant Graffiti Pier- a former coal pier now abandoned and used by an ever changing art scape of graffiti artist... the trail back is not for the faint of heart though.

Great place for dogs, jogging or just lounging. Lots of space n on the water. Ice cream truck sits in parking lot, which is nice but very pricey. $9 for 2 ice cream cones.

I always enjoy going here, especially to feed the ducks. It's very relaxing to bring a blanket, chairs and snacks and just sit and enjoy the park. Just be careful where you choose to sit, there is one or two squirrels that are not afraid to come very close if you have food. I love feeding and watching the ducks here.***Only dislike is this isn't a dog park, I'm a dog person but believe dogs belong on leashes in public parks. People allow their dogs to run free off leash and it's unfair to other park goers especially small children that are afraid and people in general who have a fear of dogs. Not only do they let them run free but several times I've seen them neglect to clean up behind their dog. Everyone should be able to enjoy the park peacefully without someone's dog running across their blanket.

This park has gotten really nice in the last year. We love hanging out by the water, playing on the new playground and recently there was a beer garden pop up.

It's a perfect spot for what ever occasion you may have perfect for running fishing BBQ pictures or just hanging out with friends. It's clean neat and we'll groomed.  They have made a few great repairs to the park and the kiddie playground for the kids.  I spend alot of time here . I do a little bit of everthing at this park. I love it here. 
JUST NEED YOU TO KEEP IT CLEAN. ..
